After an action-packed summer, Celtics star Jayson Tatum appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night to promote his new children’s book, **”Baby Dunks-a-Lot.”** Over the past few months, Tatum has added an NBA title, an NBA 2K cover, and a second Olympic gold medal to his impressive list of achievements.

Tatum’s latest venture, the children’s book, tells the story of a baby who can dunk and becomes an NBA star, playing against the likes of LeBron James and Steph Curry. To promote it, Tatum faced off with Fallon in a lighthearted rap battle about their respective books. Tatum declared:

_”I got a book too, No. 1 seller, hate to break it to you.”_

The interview wasn’t just about his book. Tatum also took a moment to praise his mother, crediting her for always believing in him and helping him reach his goals. He also reflected on his journey with his son Deuce, who has been with him every step of the way.

When asked about his predictions for the upcoming season, Tatum boldly predicted that the Celtics would face the Mavericks in a 2025 NBA Finals rematch. He even hinted at winning the MVP, playfully asking, _“Can I say myself?”_

To cap it off, Tatum revealed that Deuce, a constant presence at Celtics games, will be getting his very own championship ring during the team’s home opener.
