The 29-year-old Peppers faces serious charges: assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation, and possession of a Class B substance believed to be cocaine. According to the police report, the woman involved alleged that Peppers hit her, choked her multiple times, stripped her clothing, and forcibly put her outside. She also claimed that he shoved her to the ground, slammed her head against a wall, and strangled her.

Police confiscated a clear bag containing white powder during their investigation. The woman reportedly received treatment at home for injuries to her face and knees.

The woman revealed to police that she and Peppers had been in an “on-and-off” relationship for approximately three years.

In a statement, the Patriots acknowledged the incident and confirmed they are cooperating with the investigation. The NFL is also aware of the situation but has refrained from further comment.

Coach Jerod Mayo mentioned that the team is still gathering information and has informed the NFL of the circumstances. Mayo stated, “We don’t know enough to say he shouldn’t be in the building,” indicating that Peppers is currently allowed at team facilities.
