The Cowboys and Saints were a part of history together on Sunday.

Sunday’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints will go down in the record books—but not for the reasons you might think.

While the Saints’ dominance early on, scoring touchdowns on their first six possessions, may seem like the most remarkable part of the game, the real highlight is something much rarer: a Scorigami.

For those unfamiliar, a Scorigami happens when a final score is recorded that has never occurred in NFL history. And on Sunday, the Cowboys and Saints delivered just that.

Final Score: NO 44 – 19 DAL

This marked the 1,086th unique score in NFL history, officially recognized as a Scorigami moment.

While it may not have any real impact on the game’s outcome, it’s fascinating considering how many games have been played over the years and yet, this score had never been seen before.

Interestingly, if the Saints hadn’t missed an extra point, the score would’ve been 45-19, and we wouldn’t have witnessed this historical oddity. But here we are—witnesses to a rare moment in NFL history!
