The Serious Player Only shoe brand adds another hooper to its roster.

Mogbo’s deal is groundbreaking as he becomes the first NBA player to sign with Serious Player Only, a brand known for its performance-driven basketball shoes. This move follows the brand’s success with performance insoles and previous NBA endorsements, like former All-Star Victor Oladipo’s use of their “Player 1” shoes.

Selected 31st overall in the 2024 Draft, Mogbo is expected to bring his college success—14.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game with the San Francisco Dons—to the Raptors. While he might initially see limited playtime, with possible G League stints to develop his game, his unique deal highlights a significant shift from the usual major shoe brands worn by other Raptors players.
