The Lakers have officially signed free agents Kylor Kelley and Quincy Olivari to Exhibit 10 contracts, as reported by Jovan Buha of The Athletic and Trevor Lane of Lakers Nation (via Twitter). While Olivari’s deal was initially reported in June, Lane confirms it is now finalized.
Kelley, a 7’0″ center who went undrafted out of Oregon State in 2020, has played in the G League and various international leagues, including stints in England and Denmark. During the 2023/24 season, Kelley played for the Maine Celtics, Boston’s G League affiliate, where he earned NBAGL All-Defensive honors, leading the league with 2.9 blocks per game over 29 regular season appearances (22.0 MPG). He also averaged 7.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Kelley is 26 years old.
Olivari, a 6’2″ guard, was a standout at Rice University, earning All-CUSA honors twice before transferring to Xavier for his final NCAA season in 2023/24. Last season, he averaged 19.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, with shooting percentages of .425/.409/.814. Olivari participated in the Lakers’ Summer League team last month, while Kelley played for the Thunder’s Summer League squad.
Players on Exhibit 10 contracts can receive a bonus of up to $77.5K if waived by their NBA team and then spend at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate. These contracts can also be converted to two-way deals before the regular season starts.
With these signings, the Lakers now have 20 players under contract, including 15 on guaranteed standard deals and three on two-way contracts.
