The Houston Astros have unveiled their 2025 regular-season schedule, alongside the releases for all 30 MLB teams, which were shared via the league’s website and social media channels.
For the second consecutive season, the Astros will open at home against a New York team, facing the Mets on March 27 at Minute Maid Park. This series will include an off-day on that Friday. Following this, the Astros will host the San Francisco Giants for another interleague series beginning March 31.
Houston’s first road trip starts on April 3 in Minnesota. The Astros and Twins will have an off-day on that Friday for the Twins’ home opener, before concluding the series and heading to Seattle for their first AL West series on April 7. The Astros’ rivalry interleague series with the Colorado Rockies will expand in 2025 to two three-game series.
The Astros will travel to Colorado from July 1-3 and host the Rockies from August 26-28.
Additional interleague home series for the Astros include matchups against San Diego, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, the Chicago Cubs, and Washington. Interleague road series will take the Astros to St. Louis, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles (Dodgers), Arizona, Miami, and Atlanta.
The Astros will not face their in-state rival, the Texas Rangers, until May 16-18 for a three-game series at home.
Houston’s first home series against the Athletics will be a rare two-game set on May 27-28 at Minute Maid Park. The Astros will then travel to Sacramento to face the Athletics from June 16-19 in a four-game weekday series. This will be the Athletics’ first season at Sutter Health Park, a Triple-A stadium they will use until their move to Las Vegas. Sacramento is the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.
The All-Star break is scheduled for July 14-17, with the All-Star Game on July 15. The Astros will end the first half of the season at home against Texas from July 11-13 and will resume the season on the road in Seattle from July 18-20, followed by a trip to Arizona.
Starting September 15, the Astros will play their final 12 games against AL West opponents: hosting Texas on September 13-15, Seattle on September 19-21, traveling to the Athletics on September 23-25, and finishing the season at the Los Angeles Angels from September 26-28.
Game times and television details will be announced later this year or during the offseason.
