Robert Gasser made his MLB debut for the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday, May 10, against the St. Louis Cardinals. Gasser, the key pitching prospect acquired in the Josh Hader trade, would likely have debuted earlier if not for an elbow issue that sidelined him for the first few weeks of April.

Gasser’s start for the Brewers made him the 10th different starting pitcher used by Milwaukee this season and the fifth rookie to make his MLB debut. Despite his lack of experience, Gasser delivered an impressive performance, pitching six scoreless innings.
